Free coast gaurd program that makes sense and I will do.

Great idea and I ordered a couple too. The program only seems to be in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana at this time.

 

  Well, I just ordered a set, from Maryland auxillary.  See what happens.   I like this idea, I'm thinking about backup ID, making a label in Word, then laminating into a card, then attaching that card somehwere to my OB, maybe on one of the seat straps?
   If I do get some stickers, I'm thinking of placing one right inside the main center hatch on the hull so it's visable when the hatch is opened.  Will need to protect it, so maybe a couple layers of spray on clear coat? (Thinking through text now, not outloud)

...and Montana at this time.

hopefully they expand to utah, nevada, arizona and nebraska.....logical, lots of yakking going on I am sure.

I picked up 40 of these stickers at the Bodega Bay Coast Guard Station this afternoon.  I will be handing these out at the FreshKATS tournaments this fall until they are gone.  If you want one and see me, I'll share.

The Coastie I spoke to was very happy to give these out, as they have had problems with run away kayaks leading to long searches in the past.
