Hell ya! The entire week looks really nice. I am trying to get me schedule together now for a day trip Thurs at OC, TC or even Stengel Beach just up the road.
I've never launched from Stengel (wish list) but the last time I launched/ fished off Shell we killed it. The conditions look good for that launch on Thurs.

I live in Sacramento/ Orangevale off I80. I'll most likely try and find some local NCKA bros that might interested in carpooling.
I can potentially fit 4 guys in my Tundra. 2 yaks on the rack and 2 in the bed. Split some gas, split some driving, all good.

Dont know where you got that info, Swell Info and NOAA seem to think that it will be much calmer  :smt002

Try the point and click map from NOAA and it gives a much better location specific information:

Most people say they trust SwellInfo for the SMC, and its reporting much better than NOAA either way.  So i'll be there, let me know if your IN!  :smt003

I really really want to go, but, I hate fishing in the ocean with my yak rocking back and force under the effect of combined swell and wind, not comfortable for older people.   Provided that have to get up real early from Brisbane plus the associated costs, would be bad if I ended up not get into the water after all.

Not sure if I presented the correct info earlier, that's why I posted so that someone can direct me to the right place for weather info for the TC, FR, and OC area since those are the places I like to visit for the rest of the season.  Thanks

Just an FYI - Stengel is about another 30 minutes north of FR/TC.

Oh and isn't there a big Reggae fest up in your town this weekend Chad?  My neighbor's band is playing in it, and might sneak away from the coast for a few hours to see him  :smt002
