I've been standing my ground with my long time GF (15yrs) and consequently am still living alone!!

Yes I was in my little apartment all by my self for 11 years and was happy as hell  but things change
and you just have to take the next step. but I was not willing to change that much and no way were my baby's going
in some cold garage so I just hung them up when she was at work,  she came home looked and said well I guess we know what side
of the bed is yours  got to love her

Now it's time to break out the fish shaped pillows!

She may push to upgrade the nightstand to a milk crate and cinder blocks

Duane.. don't wuss out on me bro.  Stand your ground early or you will have problems later.
Look at me..... at times, I've gotten away with kayaks in the family room.  Ooops... I hope she's not reading this.

Where's the kayak, on the other side of the bed?

    Mine gave me no choice.     I could sleep with my pole in my hand,,, or hers.   

Wait til she steps on the first hook, or backs up on one left on the rod, ... or finds one in the bed because you had to tye the night before a big trip...not saying that ever happened.... . Next thing you know you have a bigger house with a room dedicated to your toys... that is standing your ground... instead of a darn sewing room or guest bedroom.
