Jeffw and I paddled out from Agate beach and headed 290 for a couple of hours. no bait, no boats, one whale. it's a wasteland out there.  I bounced the bottom, briefly, in 90 feet and didn't see any action.

On the bright side, my wiring/soldering worked out and my electronics worked nicely.

Coastside reports a few boats finding fish at Dux and south I'm thinking about doing Muir or Dux or both in the a.m.

I'm curious where agate beach is

Glenn at Fishermans Warehouse reports that Bodega is "red hot". One of the fisherman in the seminar tonight reported that today, from Sausalito they ran 3 hours (very slow, due to fog and crab pots) to fishing grounds, limited out in an hour, then 3 hour boat ride back.

I'm checking out Coastside right now, and thinking that Sunday is a possibility.

Scott,

the Bogeda bite is off Pt. Reyes and is a long paddle from Bodega.  I.m wondering if South Beach at Point Reyes is launchable in 2-3 foot swells....hmmmmm.   Bluekayak??

long haul.   Got google earth?  use "Tools->Measure->Path" and start at either launch location then plot a path to various GPS #'s from Coastside.  I'm willing to go for a lower probability. yet shorter, path.
