Aloha! Coastal Kayak Tours and the Adventure Dive and Fishing Lodge are offering the best prices on full package fishing trips to Christmas Island. We cater to all types of anglers including Fly Fishing, GT Fishing, Offshore Trolling, Offshore Jigging, Spear Fishing, Scuba Diving and Kayak Fishing. Our fishing packages include a local guide so we can fish anywhere we want to within this protected wildlife sanctuary. Whether you want to fish for bone’s and GT’s inside the lagoon or you want to fish the waters offshore for big game tuna, ono, and sailfish, our local guides can take you there and are amongst the best guides on the island. Or service covers everything you will need for one full week of fishing. We also have 5 fishing kayaks for kayak anglers to use. www.christmasislandkayakfishing.com

Our Fishing Package includes the following: 7 nights of air conditioned lodging , 6 day of fishing, 3 days boat fishing, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, a local guide, and a truck with fuel for your transportation needs. The lodge is comfortable, the food is good, and the fishing here is some of the best in the world. You will really enjoy Christmas Island. More boat days can be added upon request. We wanted to do something good for the local community at the atoll so we established a charitable trust fund for community development. We donate $75 dollars to this trust fund for every angler who books a fishing package with us. So when you book with us not only are you getting a great deal for fishing you are also helping to better the local community. Below is our current pricing thru 2013, but after talking with the lodge owner she is willing to knock off an additional $200 dollars if you book with us before December 31, 2012. I'm dreaming about it. By shared boat do you mean for panga type fishing or kayak mothership or would we be sharing a kayak?

There are so many options for fishing on Christmas.  We believe offering a boat (large outrigger) for 3 days (at least) is a must in order to experience it all.  Depending on the weather and other conditions, the boat may either go up into the lagoon, or outside.  You can splash kayaks off the boat.  Or you can fish off the boat big game style trolling plugs and feathers, or jig off the boat, or work large poppers just outside the breakers.  Like I said, plenty of options.

The alternative options are truck based.  We load the kayaks up and take you to various beach launches or up into the lagoon for some wade fishing for bones.  Even just walking the shore tossing poppers for Uluas and Papios is a ton of fun.  Trust me, you will not get bored with all the styles of fishing you will encounter.  Shoot, one afternoon I had a ton of fun dropping a fly into the cracks (think poke poling) and pulling out small snappers.

I'm looking for a destination trip and while the experience is obviously important I'm a meat hunter. I don't expect to keep everything I catch but it would be nice to ship back some fish without being made to feel like a jackass for keeping a calico. ;)

So what's the policy?... Spoken or not.

I'd like to take a trip to Alaska but I might wait for a year or two when Omar will appreciate the experience. This sounds like a good solo trip until then.

Pacific: you are allowed to ship 25 pounds of fillted fish home.. they were slack on that.. they actually shipped about 50 pounds home each.. the coolers were over the weight limit and for a small fee they let them go through.. we were really stoked to get fresh red sea bass back to Hawaii..

Steves: you need to pay for airfar.. its a $1000 dollars from Hawaii RT... most guys will use frequent flyer miles to get to Hawaii..

this place is a a lot of fun.. hope you all make it out some day

so far the 2013 season on Christmas island is shaping up.. we have 4 tours booked.. 2 in May and 2 in July.. none of these bookings are kayak anglers just anglers wanting to take advantage of our low prices.. I really hope some of you guys can experience the kayak fishing on Christmas Island.. there still are a lot of good fish down there and the fishing is very consistant.. from fly fishing for bones to top water popping for GT's and jigging for tasty bottom fish to offshore pelagic fishing.. this place has got it all and we have the best pricing along with 5 kayaks in place.. we are open for business all year long.. check out our web site for more info on this trip www.christmasislandkayakfishing.com
