That's pretty awesome.  I fished the Outer Banks for bluefish from the shore a few years back...only had a small box of tackle and went with the trusty blue/chrome Kastmaster to flat out kill 'em.  So nice to wade out into 80 degree water and pull in fish after fish.  Then a 7' bull shark surfaced and we got the hell out of dodge!  Can only imagine the critters causing those mullet to bust like that.

    I read somewhere that sometimes when blues are attacking menhaden that are backed up to a beach,
that all that is left over is a sheen upon the water with flurries of shiny scales as tho a lawn mower had gone thru the school.
   Blues are a bit like piranhas .

  Read "Blues" by John Hersey if you run into it. Great book.

not sure if I'd be too comfortable in the water with whatever was chasing those!  I guess I'd convince myself it was dolphins or seals and not sharks.....

yeah if i was in a yak id be worried whats chasing them.
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it
