Berkeley Flats Vs Alameda Rock Wall

So im about to embark on the journey from Petaluma down to either Berkeley or Alameda, im going in my 14 ft aluminum with a 15 hp johnson, Im not trying to push my luck with the winds etc, and im going Friday early , just wondering what would be a better place for the boat and based on the fishing conditions , ive seen both places do well.   Its a bit of a drive for both so any input would be great!>
