I look forward to being there.  First time on the river in the yak and first time for salmon in a yak.  Coming up from Stockton so I might need some directions.  Also, some tips on gear (I don't have an anchor set up) would also be nice.

Directions for y'all.

Get on 50 towards Tahoe. Take the Howe Avenue Exit NORTH.  Take first right towards La Riviera. Stay straight into the launch.

HIDE ALL VALUABLES IN YOUR CAR!

There are break ins there. Be warned. Launch and go downstream, Ricci doesn't. But he gets out fished! Haha

Don't go past the 2nd bridge, it's shallow and runs fast.
What u need, well that's opinion.
My .02. Spinning rod with 12 pound mono, or bait caster with same.
My lure of choice. Flying cs work also. As do blue foxes.

Good luck fellas!
