We stay at the HJ's; however it is over $100 each night. The Motel Six I think is ~60 in Arcata, but is a bit sketchy. Spending a couple of night, plus gas and food adds up quickly.

Clam Beach county park has camping and is close to Trinidad. Patrick's point also in the other direction.

I dont know about the launch but i think you can sleep in your car at the casino without a problem. They have a remote lot where people park their campers.

You know you want to, meet in redding and carpool, or meet me at the ramp, whatever works best for you.

My Dad and I are leaving in a few hours.  See you boys over there and good luck!  I can't wait to hear how Rob did out there today.  I am off to finish loading.

To go or not to go that is the question? One day trip?
