Hell yeah, thanks bro, ill definately take you up on that, but ill come down to the haystack, if you're gonna do me a favor, at least let me save you some gas! Right on.

I was thinkin about getting rigid foam insulation, cutting it to width and stacking it like pancakes to desired height.  Then rough cut it with hack saw, shape it with sureform, and glass it with sheets and resin.  Might make for a desireble result :smt003 too much ork?  Is there a better way to get a big foam block?

I was thinking along the same lines foam for the shape and use fiberglass resin coating sand it down paint it nice about 9 or 8 feet long by my figures.
We need to hook up and figure this out. Few beers in the garage we could knock this out in no time

Foam sounds tough, sculpting it would be hell and some foams literally melt on contact with fiberglass resin.

There's a boat building technique called stitch and glue, Youtube it.  You basically cut out a plywood template, probably banana shape for an ama, drill holes along the edge then stitch them together. Glue up the joint with thickened epoxy, unstitch then go over the outside seam with thickened epoxy to fill it in. Cut out a top, hot coat it all then glass over the ply.

Once you get the right shape you can make a mold and make them all glass and foam fill them.

for simplicity i was thinking maybe a large piece of pvc or abs and putting a crab bouy on the end twords the bow and cap the aft end. will look like a big missle or.......... fill pipe with pool noodles or other foam. Easy,Cheap, and easy to test.

I believe that's what Rudy used for the starting point and then shaped it.

Two guys could split a cheap pontoon boat, bought off Craigslist. Or, one guy could build himself a trimaran. :smt004
