31 May 06 - Anyone going out?

Long time lurker here.. Anyone going out tomorow?  I have the day off so I'm thinking of going out... I'm a newbie so I might do more observing than actual fishing... I also have Crab pots so that's also a possibility... I have a Tarpon 120.  Anyone?

man i wish i could, i would be going to linda mar and dropping pots in the middle of the cove for dungeness crabs and then fishing the baitballs. what more can a guy ask for on a weekday?

that place is a safe bet with this weather and low swell readings.

i go it alone there sometimes because i feel pretty safe there and there is always nice crab easy to get limit of em. stay to the left side of the cove but still towards the middle. too close to the edges and you get rock crabs.

use the combo of cans of tuna in oil, poke 5 holes up top and 5 down below, drop the hoop and fish for some kingfish to slice up and throw in there. you'll get crabs fast that way.
