I have a group of 3 going to Trinidad for the weekend, we should be fishing every day!
I spend most days behind a desk so I find fishing a great way to end the day!

Looks pretty good. Smallcraft warnings up thru the 25th but, it does not look too bad that day.  The mixed swell can be a rocker for the faint of stomach but, looks to stay small. Sunday and Monday look really flat right now and I may wait till then. I will look for you and introduce myself if I make it out.

You will be fine.  Sunday I may go on another halibut hunt.  I already have one other prospect going anyone else who is down for a paddle/peddle ~5 miles offshore catching salmon on the way out.  We will be at Trinidad beach launch around 6-8am.

Might be down for that.   :smt001

Mcosta - your timing is looking good - it's looking like very nice water Sunday/Monday like crawfish said - hopefully I'll see you out there Sunday.  If the forecast is true, 5 miles seems like a very long way, but it's just a matter of a workout on the order of two to two and a half hours of straight paddling/trolling, and, like Rob said, there's salmon to target all the way out and back.  Rockfish inshore should be good too.   :smt001

The water Sunday was great! We are going to head out again to
Tomorrow, Monday around 9am, and fish out near flat iron rock if anyone is interested. Our freezer is getting full! We have enough room for about 10 fish!

Glad to hear you had a good trip, mcosta - I did hear from Rob/Matanaska this morning that he was on to some nice fish outside.  We should hear from him soon, I'd say.  Good luck tomorrow.   :smt001
