Has anyone caught a salmon at AR yet? When will the bigger school of salmon show up? This is my first year fishing for salmon and I'm excited to catch one. Any info will be appreciated, thanks.

I've been riding my mtn bike on the parkway trail daily and throwing spinners and going for stripers.
Saw 3 big hens going upstream fast as I watched from the sac state bridge.

Only salmon I've seen.

Robyn and I Walked the river from Howe to the Sac state bridge then went to the hatchery. Only saw one the whole day. I've been out  from shore about every other day and have yet to see any.

Let me explain something to you. Um, I am not "Mr. Lebowski". You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.

I'm hoping they don't trickle in untill last week in September.  Will be home by then.
Only fishing I've done here was ruined by water moccasins.  About 8 of them in the water and a bunch on the bank.

Today the salmon were not that active. I only saw a few jumping and a school of 4 moving up around 9 am. I continued going back to the bridge after my classes, but that was it for the day. I think it was due to the hot weather  :smt012 and the water level. The water level seem pretty low, is that the reason why they are not moving up yet? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Hopefully they are hanging out in deep holes. Good luck guys, I'll let you know about tomorrow.
