Discovery Park bank fishing for Salmon. 8/19

I took a drive over to the Howe Ave ramp and the Guy West bridge today. Nothing much going on there.

Same on the Sac state walk bridge... Nada. Yesterday I saw 3 big chromers running upstream under the walk bridge

I'm surprised that the salmon aren't stacked up there yet. I had a report from Vince's nephew over a month ago that there were bunch of people plugging in sac river around Freeport area for salmon and catching. But keep trying and keep us posted on the results. I'm planning to drive up there to plug when the action is on.

15 boats. Nothing. And I will never try bank fishing for salmon there again. Lol

It's Nimbus they call "Fishfight Fishin" which has kept me out of that area for a long while. I'd like to say that I am a lover not a fighter, but nah, I'm just too lazy to want to fight...
