Recommendations for Tahoe

I'm wanting to take my girlfriend for her birthday to Tahoe next weekend and wondering if anyone in the club had a cabin to rent or knew of a good spot to stay.  I don't think I can get away with car camping for this one.  I figure it might be too late to try to find a vacation rental but if anyone has any intel that would be most helpful.
