Mine doesn't even want me to look at the ocean. All these nature shows are screwing me up.

I used to watch it in the early days. Caught some of last year's show on Netflix and it is way to dramatized for me now. I did see an interesting segment on prehistoric sharks.

I get all over over-the-top drama I need from River Monsters :smt044

Thread jack - This morning KFOG radio was saying some group wants to put GWS on the US endangered species list. That there are only 350 GWS off the coast. A dangerously declining population due to declining seal populations etc. IMO seal and fish populations are increasing as well as are GWS sightings. Almost seems like another way to close off the coast to public access now that the MPLA process is slowing

Yes.
But I did see one encouraging segment from S Africa.   They spotted GWS , from a helicopter, just off a crowded beach.  An insane dude paddled out to them-in a yellow kayak.  He wasn't attacked, but they "mouthed" his paddle and kayak.  He commented on how they weren't attracted until he splashed his paddle around....I don't want his job.
Take some, but save some for later.

There are certain species you can eat their fins and are legal. Leopard sharks are legal. Do they taste as good as other sharks?
