Got my New Kayak!

Hey whats up everyone. Im knew to kayak fishing and just bought my first kayak. Tarpon 140.

Nice, my buddy that I fish with has the 120 and they are pretty sweet. Faster and more stable than mine

I think my tarpon is a 2003-2004 model, and there have been a lot of improvements since then. WS builds good bopats, IME.

Why do I see a lot of kayak fisherman with milk crates in the back with rod holders? Just easier to store stuff in the back?

sweet ride! but remember there is no cure for this disease, and side effects include job loss from too many sick days used, trouble with never seeing family, extreem exhaustion from too many days of 4am. have fun out there...

The milk crates are a very easily modified bucket for your ride. Just to keep your stuff while you get some more stuff, of the finned type. A lot of how to articles out there. Here is one to give some ideas.
