Troy... I like to barbeque the fillets.  Tonight I basted them with melted butter and sprinkled with garlic pepper, dill, and tarragon... it was fantastic... of course a few applewood chips in the smoker box to add some smoke flavor.  It is just firm enough that you can flip them once without them breaking up as long as you are careful.

Combined with fresh sweet corn on the cob and fresh green beans prepared my new favorite way...

Coat the beans with olive oil in a bowl, then add a little soy sauce, a little brown sugar, and sprinkle with black pepper.  Mix it all around with your hand to coat them thoroughly.  Then I put the beans on the grill on the high rack and cook until the undersides get a little brown.  YUM!!!

I just had a killer meal but that sounds great
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

took a chance at mendo today... I did not know if I was going to fight the wind, or all the knuckle heads in wake board boats.  I met SHARKBAIT, and exchanged greetings.  We took off to the east side just north of Crappie cove.  Saw 2 good sized boils, with no love.  I had one of the SBR bank fishing guys net a bunch of shinners.  They died just looking at em.  This cold front seems to shut the boils down a little?
