Decided to try to troll for kokes and got skunked.im not rigged for trolling yet so needless to say I put my setup into the bottom after about an hour 😡.which is when I lost a real nice set up so I decide to put the rod up and cruise the shore looking for some replacement gear .which worked I got a real nice 15# anchor with 175 ft of nice anchor line 😃

Technically you didn't get skunked...you got an anchor!  :smut003  Thanks for the fishing report Mike.

Way to get out there and give it a try Mike. I'm tinkering at the moment trying to find a way to make my downrigger closer to me. I'll take a picture to share when I'm finished.

Try jigging for them in Carson cove, they are thick in there about seventy feet down. Dark colors work well... FYI Carson cove is due east of glory hole launch ramp, quik paddle! Fish near the island... That is if u get the chance to get back out there. Limited trolling there with my dad Sunday in two hours
