I'm going to be going there this Sunday(8/5)-Tuesday and was wondering if anyone could point me towards a reliable website for the surf/swell report up there?  Good launch points?  Thanks

Salt Pt is my favorite if I'm not going up to Ft Bragg.

The area has multiple good launches,  The easiest IMO is Timber Cove a few miles south, There's a road right down to the (tiny protected) beach, pay up top at the office, or if you're real early don't wake up owner just pay on the way out, I think it's like 8-10 $ per car or maybe per person?  It's located along with a bunch of roadside trailers just south of Timber Cove Inn.

Other launches are Grestle Cove in the park, Ocean Cove $, Stillwater Cove County park free if you just stay on the ocean side and it has a nice little beach and (restroom) for chilling, and then Ft Ross (free since you paid at Salt Pt)  which would be the most exposed of the ones I listed nice beach, but a long walk from parking and no facilities at beach level.

IMO the best marine forecast data is available direct from NOAA.  The link below will open a page with a "point" forecast I centered near Ft Ross.  The map is interactive and you can zoom in and pick any "point" you want for a forecast specific to that point.  Besides the data presented at day/night intervals across the top in pics, and down the left side in text, hourly forcast data is available in graphical form by clicking the "hourly weather graph" link found near the bottom right of the page.

Have fun Be safe,,,,
