kayak to loan / rent for a week

Hey guys,

I will be camping south of Big Sur for a week (8/1 - 8/5) with my brother in law and am looking for someone's spare / older kayak to borrow or rent (cheap) for the next week.  We are going to hug the coast for the most part so I don't need anything special, just something that floats.  So if you are in the Monterey area and want to work something out let me know.  I'll make a point to try to return the favor in the future.

First of all,  I imagine the shoulder will heal.   

Second of all,  I really think I need both. 

I mean,  who can survive with only one Yak?  I think one yak always needs a friend so the other wont get lonely, right?  But really,  I think I would keep the 4.7 for the areas with a lot of kelp or for when my dad wants to go out. 

I'm going to Big Sur in September I think.  The 4.7 is the boat for that trip I think.
