There is only one thing more embarrassing than getting swept...and that's getting swept and scoring 0 runs in the whole series....Oh wait...I'm thinking of the Dodger/Giants series from June when that happened to the Dodgers...

The problem is Sabean is not going to go out and get a power hitter with the trade deadline looming  tomorrow.  The Dodgers were just trying to return the favor from June, when they watched a seven game lead go away courtesy of the Giants and the   Anaheim Angels.  Sixty one games to go I love this rivalry and baseball in general.

I don't think the problem is Sabean so much as just not having the funds available to go get what we need. I'm sure Sabes wants the best team on the field that money can afford but I'm pretty sure we are tapped financially. Looking forward to having this ballpark paid off...

For his birthday we gave my dad Giants tickets (dugout seats).  He chose the Friday game against the Dodgers.

This battle will be great all the way to the end. I will be wearing dodger blue on Saturday against the cubs. Let's go Dodgers!!!
I love the blue crew but I'm worried about a meltdown before the playoffs.

well birddog did call a sweep after the giants went up 1-0 on Friday...
i am sure he was solely responsible for the jinx, so blame him
