I started getting rage while reading your story, thats pretty F'd up. Im a newb and I didnt realize there are some pretty stupid boaters out there. I'll start watching my back for idiots like this guy. I wouldn't even had said anything to that dumbass and I would've just started scrapping with him right away if he threatened my life like that, but after reading everyone's comments, if or when this ever happens to me, i'll try to play it safe and just call the proper authorities. Im glad you guys are alright.

it not just the pb'er you gotta stay out of casting distance of shore anglers also.most of them cast first look second.a 6oz pyramid weight to the head will jack your day up.especially in the bay when there is a strong run of any kind of species

I don't get how some people think it is funny to try and dump kayakers off their yak. I'm sure that guy will never do it again after you confronted him Chad. Glad you were able to hold back on giving that guy a beating.

Glad it all turned out OK and you/Howard didn't get swamped or worse. Confronting that idiot is a good thing, just not with a weapon. I wish all these Pb'ers who think they own the water, had to experience being in a kayak in unfavorable conditions.

I was napping next to Als car while this was all going down...glad I missed it because I really get upset about Holes like this case...there is vid of the boat AL maybe take a pic off the vid and put it on this thread so that we can constantly remind this ASSHOLE that there's way more than a few of us.........it worked out in the end...could've went down way worse...The guy will definitely give a wide berth to us yakkers in future...and if he doesn't well lets not even go there

Glad you guys didn't thump the guy even though he was very deserving...it's hard to walk away but in the end...always the best choice...........you did the right thing!!!
