short notice but looking to get out tomorrow, probably Timber Cove but open to other options.  Plan on targeting salmon with rockfish as the fall back option.  Anyone else interested?

Anybody got eyes n the coast?  Is the commercial fleet still working off Fort Ross to Salt Point?

As long as my GF is feeling OK, I'm in for tomorrow at TC.

Are they getting salmon mooching up here, or on the troll?

Also, herring or anchovies?

TIA!

Thursday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming S around 6 kt in the morning. Patchy fog before 11am. Mixed swell...WNW 2 ft at 8 seconds and SSW 2 ft at 13 seconds. Wind waves around 1 ft.

If this report holds true and the fleet is still working around Fort Ross, we can launch from Timber, head South, then the wind will help us back home.

I think everyone is still trolling.  As far as anchovies or herring, I am planning on using herring only because I have a freezer full from a little cast netting I did back in February.  I don't mind defrosting a couple of extra packs if anyone wants to use some.
