Thieves at the ARW 7-21-12

So I got taken for my PFD on sat which also had my vhf radio and my fishing
License in it turned my back for 4 min and bang it was gone.     But I know who took it.

There was some sun bathers behind us on the beach side of the ARW me and my girl Erica where trying out our new Malibu kayaks pro2 tandem which did not go well I will not be taking this kayak out again
But that is another story it almost tried to kill us

So as for the radio it was an Icom m88 with shoulder mic with a floppy antenna
These radios don’t come with a floppy antenna my has one because the old one
Fell off so I got one off an old radio I had. And as for the life vest it was a lotus
Mid water green it was old don’t really care about that was looking to get a new one
i put up some pics of the vest.

There are 2 things that would let me know that the radio and vest are mine one the clip That holds the mic on the vest is broke so I tied a silver trigger snap to the back with 50# mono and the vest has holes In the ends of the shoulder straps that fall down the front this is where I hang the mic from the trigger snap.

I dont think I will get anything back but I remember what the girl looks like to I will be checking back there.

I feel your pain. Five minutes at the PIF yesterday and I got my new wetsuit taken as well as two shirts I got in Alaska.

Your wetsuit and the alaska shirts ended up on top of my yellow BigYak down by the beach!

When I carried the yak back to the car I realized they were not mine and Nathan Sharkbait took them back and left them at the main tent canopy.

I'll ask around to see who took them home!!
