Help Mel replace his lost rod and reel

As you all know our brother Mel Lost a Nice cal star rod, reel, and pole holder last saturday. Thankfully that's all 

He didn't want to make a big deal of it but i think that we should.

Im sure he could replace the rod himself.

However I would hope that we could step up and help, as Im sure a Donated(love rod)  will be more appreciated and meaningful. Lets get his gear back to normal or better then normal 

I think we could all use the Good Karma 

A fishermans Warehouse Gift certificate would be most convenient. Im still trying to figure out how to do it but will post as soon as i get an idea.

Im not sure yet Guys but here is my "big plan" Im trying to get it set up to were we can get the man a FW gift card. I pm'ed yakhopper. So maybe we can get a pay pal set up and he can mail a FW gift card to him. I never really see Mel, though i donmt mind making the drive to Pleasanton or Fremont, the idea of checks or cash floating around in  the mail seems kind of weird. Right?

Can any one help with any suggestions? IDK how the whole pay pal thing works. what would be the best way?

If we can get something together @ PIF I will stop bye FW on the way home and get it myself. I just don t know that that will work as IDK if all those willing to give are going to PIF.
