Has anyone fished for stripers in the east bay

Hey all I found this report from this weekend and Im unsure of the location they refer to discovery and they knocked them dead last weekend, im thinking its on the bay side of the delta by the town of discovery bay if noones been there anyone interested in a exploratory trip anyway here is the sniffer thread.

I'm guessing Discovery Park near or around Sacramento. I've never been there myself but if they are fishing for shad it almost has to be. There aren't any shad runs in or around Discovery Bay.

Definitely Discovery Park in Sacramento; River is flowing fast and cold and the fish are biting.  The Virgin Sturgeon not a bad place for lunch as well.
