I have had two dozen noodles and 4 crab floats in my X-Factor for years.  I've taken it all out once and nothing was water-logged or nasty smelling.

Here's a video of how I made "pontoons" out of noodles and Seal-A-Meal bags:

...and here's a video where I completely swamp my kayak to see how it'll handle when absolutely FULL of water:

i did the same thing over the weekend. went to dollar tree and ended up stuffing 38 pool noodles into the ride 135. with still more than enough room for tackle. my rods will have to ride above deck but im making bungees for them so its all good. my 0ne piece rods wont fit anyway. so no skin off my back on that one.

Sounds like you're all set if the landlord wants a "cup-o-noodles"

I agree pumping out a full hull out at sea does not seem likely. When I fillled up my yak with water this weekend to check for leaks I tried pumping it out with my hand pump, 6 strokes per gallon seems doable, but after three minutes I called it quits and siphoned.

I also flipped my kayak upside down at a launch ramp this spring and sat on top just to get a feel.  even with the tighter mod pod on my T13 the front hatch still let in about 10 gall/min. I was shocked. I just went to Home Depot today and got some 1 inch wide weather stripping foam and its tighter so I will attempt again.
