On the water at 6:50am. A little breezy but no too bad. The water in the cove at BR was flat. Still 5 mph limit on the lake. The water level is higher than last weekend. Headed out of the cove and west to hit the area I fished last weekend. I get there to find a long row of bass boats in the area I wanted to fish. Turns out there is a tournament today. The pb's come and go all morning, they fish around me and respect my area. I had a tough time finding the structure I fished last time. The shore line has changed with the high water. I was able to c&r two bass. Started to rain and the wind picked up around 8:30am so I headed back. Off the water around 9:15am.

First bass:

Second Bass:

This is a pic of the road to the Hobie ramp. The large parking lot and boat rampa are under water:

Nice that ya got the hard fighting smallies.
Is it posted on entry that the whole lake is 5mph? Anyone on the lake enforcing it?
I was gonna make a surprise appearance this morning but I am still recovering from the weeks earlier activities.
I know how much things change when the water gets that high there. Hard to recognize anything.
What did ya get your fish on anyway??

Yep, the entire lake is 5 mph. They have a sign as you pull up to the toll booth. I've never seen it enforced. There was one group in a big pb powering around full speed and pulling skiers.
He was nice enough to slow down when he got near me.

Caught them both on the same old thing....senko.

I'm on a quest to catch a 10lb (or bigger) bass this year.
