I have finally received my hobie PA  :smt008 last week but have not been able to take it due to work and overtime  :smt044 But the good news is I will be available on Monday and Tuesday. Checked the tides and looks disable for some butts. I was thinking of checking out paradise park.

Never been there and wanted to know where to launch and maybe even some fishing tactics. Also company is always welcome... Or if anyone is targeting some halis on Monday or Tuesday, I'd love to tag along...

Happy 4th

you will need wheels, its a long haul to the launch, well actually a real long haul back to the parking lot, with a PA i hope you save some energy, and watch the ramp, it can get real slippery with algae, the pic is from the parking lot, the ramp is on the left of the pier, cameron

Does anyone know How the current is when you get out of the cove for a kayak? Is it sketchy or fish able? Wanted to know if it's safe to try the California city area.

Go South and fish by the Can. watchout for the wakes from the Blue and Gold Cattle Boats.
There's sometime a swell pushing you to the Breakwater on your way in. make sure to time it right.
If your early the Park Rangers will let you drive to the ramp. The Rangers might still help you with their tote Goat back to the
parking lot. I'll give them something to eat or drink in return.
Check with the Ranger first before you drive down to the ramp. Whole Squid attached to a Owner #1 Ringed Flyliner hook on a three way
works for me.

Hi Yakers:

ChuckE I think has caught the biggest Halibut so far at Paradise. Maybe 20 Ft.-30 Ft.?
Search places to launch and fish section for more Intel.
