NOAA bumped their wind forecast back to 15 - 25 kts, but I'm not giving up hope just yet... Been watching it in the mornings, and the winds have been down for at least a few hours of daylight.

That cam is awesome. It's still glassy out there today (as of 9:00) and the shore break looks tame. I'm optimistic about Saturday morning. Can't wait to give it another try!

Weather looks to be pretty sour at Muir tomorrow.  I may take the easy way out and fish Santa Cruz. I'll Make the call this evening.

As of now, forecast for Muir is 15 - 25 kts, Santa Cruz is 5 - 15 kts.

Are you sure? I was just looking at the website that you mention earlier and it says that wind will be 10 kts. Swells will be 3-5ft.

Ah. Good catch. I was following the link on the Sigward page, and didn't realize it was showing me the forecast for 10 to 60 kts offshore (unless i scrolled down...). I usually access NOAA directly (weather.gov).

So yes, Muir looks like it'll be plenty doable tomorrow. I plan to be there in the morning to see for myself.

Ok, is it just the two of us? What time will you be there?

I'll plan to be there at or before 6:30, driving a silver Subaru Outback.

Do you have a radio? If so, I'll be on CH. 69. If not, it'd be a good idea to get one soon.

Not sure if anyone else is coming. Bueller?? Bueller????

Yes, I do. I will be there around that time too. I'm coming from Sacramento.

If I recall correctly, the sign said something like sunrise to sunset.
