At indian valley we always just used corn straight out of the can as well... makes sense to flavor it up though. 
Never trust a man that doesnt like to fish...

I made a couple scented batches this last spring for a Bass Lake trip and the refrigerator still smells like the stuff. (even with baking soda in the frig)  After fishing side by side with guys that used unscented corn I couldn't see any difference in the catch rate. 

The next Kok trip will be straight corn out of the can.  It's not as messy and straight corn doesn't die your fingers red.
