Last Friday my boss was generous enough to donate his brand new Pop-Up Canopy for the raffle! He had been fighting cancer for awhile now and I had the honor of seeing him through to the last, as he passed away yesterday about an hour after I arrived in the morning. He was 81 and fought it to the end, and was a testament to how when a Doctor tells you that you have 3 months to live that sometimes that just isn't the truth and that mind over matter and healthy living can make all the difference. So even though this is for Joel, I want to make this donation in honor of Clayton Stouffer of Boulder Creek, CA.
I'm still walking, so I'm sure that I can dance...

I received a reminder this weekend of why NCKA is such a special organization.  The PIF has been a great example of our brotherhood.  However we can do better than this. 32 listed items for the raffle, with 8 of them being from Hojoman. Maybe we donated our best stuff the last couple PIF's but we can come through again, All you lure making, fly tying, rod building craftsmen, time for you to showcase your talents with contributions. The PIF is almost here. Let's get moving.

I'm considering swimming the PIF paddle route for training.  Would someone mind piloting me around?   :smt001
