I'm considering swimming the PIF paddle route for training.  Would someone mind piloting me around?   :smt001

Sweet!  Thanks man,

It'll be just like old times.  Only thing missing will be the random chicks from craigslist.  And single-engine planes dive bombing into the lagoon.  And a-holes named Butch who lick they filthy Cheeto crusted fingers while telling me to f' off.  And paddling through raw, untreated sewage!!!

But other than that, exactly the same!   :smt044 :smt044

After confirming with Jim, I will be donating to the pif.
Since I am new to the scene and don't have all of my gear yet, I wont be donating anything kayak related.
What I can offer is 5 gallons of beer in a style chosen by you and brewed by me(Bare Knuckle Brewery). The winner will receive a voucher for 5 gallons which I will brew after a style is decided upon. I will meet up with the winner when it is done and bottled to pass it off.
Look forward to meeting all of you.

I've got a gift certificate for a 4 hour kayak rental + PFD and wetsuit from Kayak Connection in Santa Cruz. This is a $55 value and a great way to introduce one of your n00b friends to kayak fishing. Please keep in mind that this expires one year from now so use it or loose it :)

A big thank you to Katrina at Kayak Connection for generously donating this gift certificate.
