What to wear?

I have a Hobie Outback that I've been using out of Shelter Cove, Ft. Bragg and Eureka.  So far, I've just been wearing shorts and a sweat shirt or light coat and usually peel down to a tee shirt.  I also wear dive boots.  I'd rather "dress for immersion" but I'm thinking I'd be way to hot in a wet suit.  Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks,

Some of the guys here wear drysuits but I would wear a 3 mil wetsuit.I'm sure you know how old the water is out there if you roll your yak and can't upright it your gonna be in searious trouble really fast.I did a test once I wore a 1mil glove on one of my dives at point arena it went numb after a min
