Loose Screws ORC Trip

Only one more day until we hit the road for the long drive to Depoe Bay for the NWKA ORC tournament.  HobieDave, Sailfish (Sonny), and I will be hitting the road bright and early Wednesday morning.  We have plenty of Andy1976's lead-heads and my hand poured swimbaits in white and rootbeer.  The weather forecast looks really good but our fingers will remain crossed until Saturday.  While the purpose of this trip, like all fishing trips is to have fun, we plan to represent NCKA well and would not feel bad if we get an opportunity to raid the prize pile.  If all goes well, this will be the first of many future road trips for the "Screws".  The guys form NWKA set the bar very high at Gimme Shelter and we plan to raise it even higher.  Kayak fishing needs no boundaries!

Man I wish I was going too. My daughters in the hospital right now awaiting the birth of het first daughter. If she has the baby tomorrow, would I even dare run for the north on Friday am? Good luck Martin and all the lucky suckas that get to go.
