I have a P&H Bahiya that is about 5 years old and only paddled maybe ten times.  This is a boat for an experienced paddler.  The deck is carbon-kevlar (orange) and the hull is fiberglass (white).  This is a gorgeous boat and a blast to paddle.  I would take 1500 obo. or trade for a fishing kayak.  I paid 3200.00 for it and it still smells brand new inside the hatches.  Here is a link to their site.

Thanks for lookin',

Loren,
I noticed your add today and have been looking for a P & H Bahiya. If it's still available please elaborate on the condition - scratches, the hull and any spider cracks in the gel coat. The next hurtle is were are you,  I'm in Austin Texas. Let me know if you have ideas on transport. Anxious to hear from you on the boat and hope you have a Great weekend!
Thanks,  Mark

PS, I do have a Hurricane Phoenix 160 SOT that I've thought about selling, (too many boats) that is rigged for fishing - rod holders, Lowrance depth and fish finder, rudder - white on white and a light boat for 16', with a sea kayak look, Sweet boat!
Hope to talk soon...

This is legit. I'm just a guy that is looking to get a more aggressive boat. I currently have a Pintail, if you know what that is and want a faster more challenging boat. Not just Hick's here dude. I can appreciate the scam crap, I am aware of it on my side ALL the time. If the person wanting to selling the boat is interested Great, if not fine. I'll keep looking and find one. The shipping, I'm just not sure how to get a 17'5" fiberglass boat here without damage.
And have a Nice eve!

The Bahia is a really sweet kayak. What are you looking to get into. I don't fit it but I may be able to help find it a home.

Also you may check with Keith at CCK. He sells PH and I know he is good with trades. Not sure where you are at but Cck had a store in Rancho Cordova and Oakland.

Guys,

Easy now on the new guy.  Actually ... please don't harass the new guys.  There is no need for it.  Got an issue?  Report it to the mods.

If I had the opportunity to save a grand on a yak that I was interested in why not go for it?
$3200 yak, $1500 asking price, even if shipping was $300 that's still a $1400 savings.
If you see a deal jump on it.
There are ways the buyer and seller can both protect themselves from a scam.
Let the two of them work out the details. If it flies then great. If not then it just wasn't meant to be.
