that short bite looks like it knew only to use its front teeth first.
Which makes putting some scent on the swimbaits a MUST.

Not me.  The irony is the guy in the video had fish for dinner and paid over $14 a lb for grilled halibut.  What a sucka!

Never knew a hali would chase the bait from so far away. Always thought you'd have to drop the bait on their nose in order for them to bite. Thx for the link.

Wow. So that is a halibut.

 It's a great vid. I like how it shows that halis aren't just the opportunist ambushers, but that they will actually stalk a lure for quite a ways.
