A couple of new pieces for the show in July.  The sheephead is indicative of a series of pieces I am working that include prey items of the featured fish. With the Sheepie you'll see clams, mussles, urchins, 'dines, and crabs.
Thanks for looking!

So. Damn. Cool.

 :smt007 :smt004 :smt007

Really dig the urchins and stuff on the sides as well!!

I think I'm gonna start saving up for one to memorialize a few of my more special catches/days of this year.

Thanks for sharing Sean.

Jim

Those are tight Sean. I enjoyed your other pieces and I've got to say, you create some awesome art. Great details, textures. But I concur, the sheepshead colors are stunning!

I love how you filled in the space around the sheephead with 6 other species.
They all look amazing.
You have quite the talent.

Peace!
I figued ya'll were tired of having me plug the show.
It will on the last weekend of July, saturday & sunday. I'm #13 in the Bonny Doon Studio Tour and we'll have our garden display open from 11am- 5pm both days, with special guests Holi Choli Bellydance and Calla lilly Tribal bellydance performing at 3pm daily.

I love how you filled in the space around the sheephead with 6 other species.

Thanks Tote!
Many of the Pacific Northwest interior screens that inspire me have that "filled in" look. I'm currently working on a lingcod piece that includes octopus, juvenile rockfish, kelp greenling, and sardines.
