"Alfredo Kayak Tours" is loaded and ready for a Sunday morning outing. Taking the family to the Cosumnes River Preserve for a casual paddle.  I'll probably do a little bass fishing while we're out there.

@skipro, when I went there I launched from the park.  If you check in at the visitor center they will even loan you a set of wheels.  It is a dock launch, but the water was easy enough to get in and out of without problems

Where do you launch for that and how was the fishin'?

We had a great time on the river. The place was empty. We paddled for over two hours before we saw another boat. Didn't bring any fishing gear this time. The CRP has a really nice dock to launch from.

You should do well, he lower Cosumnes is loaded with red-eye bass, overrun actually
formerly Da roblo, Diroblo, white devil, etc..
