WTB - VHF Marine Radio

Anybody have an extra VHF handie talkie they want to sell or do you know who has the best deal right now for one.  Preferably one that floats.  I need one for ARW.

I just bought a standard horizon at west marine.  it is water proof and floats.  with the mail in rebate it was 110.00.  the nonfloating one was 100.00 after rebate.  it's pretty small and fits nicely on my pfd.  i also bought the west marine rebate so the radio is covered for 4 years (2yr manufacturer warranty and 2 yr westmarine warranty).  I haven't used it on the water yet.  i'm going out tomorrow so i'll post how it worked.

That happen over 15 yrs ago and I am never going to hear the end of it, specially after NCKA knows about it.

They do make cell phones that float you just have to put it in a dry box for it to float

Picked up the Standard Horizon at West Marine today.  It wasn't quite as good as the Star Marine deal but I have it now for ARW.
