OK...this is an add to bucket list thing.... I want to dive :smt006 As a kid we free dove in FL for lobster in shallow water on vacations and mess around recks...and now I am thinking I do not want to wake up and sh*t I wish I did that (Our coast diving). I have read almost every thread on NCKA about divng and I recognize you guys make this look so easy  :smt001 because it is second nature. I would like to start small and maybe do an ab dive with rental gear. Thinking of Fort Bragg. Any advice?  :smt006 Many thanks, David

Sub Surface Progression shop in Ft. Bragg rents all the gear you need for diving. Van Damme is about 10 miles south from the shop. It's almost always diveable, great biginner spot. Hook up with a boardmember to show you the ropes, first time out... and next.
