I made the hole for the power lead just a bit smaler than the outside diameter of the power lead  insulation cover. By streching the wire as I fed it in, its so tight there is no need for sealant. I installed a rectangular flush mount forward of the hatch. Then i tested the entire boat for water in the hull. High pressure water bath for 20 minutes left no water in the hull at all. The new front hatch is great. I really douched the shit out of it and no water at all came through. Love that.

WARNING: The leading edge of the tube that the FF wires fed through is really sharp at the entrance of the tube. You will need to dress the edge a bit with a file to make sure the wires dont get cut from repeated opening and closing of the hatch lid.

I'm a skeptic.  I'd have to test it out to be sure it's a great boat  :smt002

Seriously though, it looks like a sweet boat.

More fun today.2 more rectangular flush mounts for trolling.  Keeping it real simple. Goodwill always has cool cheap stuff.
