Hey, I made that map!  :smt044  Area 3 is additional parking outside the harbor for access to the beach, or Area 4 the But Watching Area  :smt005

Oh yeah Al!  Got it from the 2010 PIF.   Thanks.

You could launch here also and its closer to the site 4 and less paddle to get out of the harbor.  Lots of big boat traffic launch there though.  But if you get there early its not bad.

Me and Glen will be launching from here instead of site 1.  Much closer to site 4 and bayside marine where you can get bait if you need some.  Not sure but if we get there early enough we might be able to secure parking close to the beach on site 4 after we launch and secure our kayaks.

Allan (Hightide), Victor(Vwool) and Papio, hope to see you guys there!  It's going to be a fun day whether we catch anything or not.

Looks like there's going to be some wind that morning. I'll try to make it and will launch near bayside too.

Is grilling allowed in the parking lot?

How is the parking by that ramp? Is the parking permit for the area circled in yellow by site 2?

Also is the parking on 5th Ave or E Cliff Drive metered or free?

Lots of parking by that ramp close to Bayside Marine especially if you get there early.

Glen, let's leave around 4:30 so we can be there by 6am.  I'm shooting for 6-6:30am launch time at the ramp by bayside.

Nudling glad to hear you will be there too.  You probably have more sailing experience than all of us AI guys. I've had mine longer than you but I hardly take it out for sailing.
