Yeah guys I was really hoping someone would catch a fish, Joel managed to land a batray on one of my swimbaits!!

Thanks again to Chuck and Tim for there hard work in maling this event happen. All you guys with raffle prizes owe it to one of those guys.

Again all prize money will be rolled over to the next event which is HMB. Someone has to catch something there  :smt003

Well the Derby was fishless but still a very good way to spend a day!! Thanks to Chuck, Bill, Mike at Oyster Point Bait and Tackle and Mr. Hobie rep for getting the ball rolling. Many thanks to those who made the effort to make the drive to the derby  :smt023

For the record, Bill's fish traps are AMAZING! I have never caught a Bat Ray on an artificial....this is the first for me!

No thanks to the Red Bull girls....I made the effort to take a shower and cut my hobbit toe nails for nothing  :smt013

I wanted to add this.  Yesterday the water @ OP was as flat and blue and as calm as I had every seen it.  No wind either. What a difference one day makes.  It looked like lake Mendo.
