In Loving Memory of Mooch, Eelmaster, Shicken, and Cabeza De Martillo

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

Had a great time also. I was live-lining some of my bait and had the belly torn off a mackeral, and the squid was bit in half; also the shiner was torn off to the head. I was letting out alot of line, just so the bait was alone. I have just got to remember to had stingers to my rigs; I think my percentage/catch will increase. I had fun at the barrier outside of the boat marina with some good strikes and returning to get hit again; but no joy.
At the BBQ; it was nice to meet people and have some good food, and thanks to Hobie Kayaks, Red-bull, and since I'am bad with names, the guy at the grill, The guy that brought the smoked fish, and everyone that attended this event.

Yup, big thanks to all involved, organizers and participants alike.  I had a hell of a time, can't wait to do it again.

Sorry the fishing wasn't better, but with this crew you can still have a great time even without fish!
Ditto what Sean said.

A big THANKS to everyone there Saturday.  I had such a good time meeting new members, I forgot to take photos.  Thankfully, Duane did...

Again, special thanks to Mike at the Oyster Point Bait & Tackle, Hobie's Tim Krane,  California Canoe & Kayak, Hook1, and Robert (Oyster Point's Harbormaster) for making it all possible.
