Me and Christina are excited about this weekend and have been looking forward to it for awhile..she's feenin for some rockfishing and I'm excited to go on my first Ocean dive Adventure! I kno not to go alone on my first dive so I wondering if anybody else is this upcoming weekend? I'm not askin for anybody to baby sit me or anything, but just some company in the water so I dont go get myself in trouble! :smt002...Will be bringing the yaks, poles, and dive gear! So whos going out, BigJim, Brent, Rick, Andy?

I was thinking about taking my kid to SWS this Sat, but forecast says 10 ft swell this Sat. Probably not as bad in the cove. Be careful out there Ricci.

Ricci, I will be up North so won't be able to dive with you.   :smt012

Here is the link I use for swell/wind forecast down there:

http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=36.563082614241225&lon=-121.95013046264648&site=mtr&smap=1&unit=0&lg=en&FcstType=marine

FYI...5-6 feet is usually FAC...7-8 is still usually chill. 9-10 is bumpy for sure, but usually you can find some sheltered water to play around in at the very least right inside the big island.

And these webcams help too:

Pink house/pescadero point:

Island/arrowhead point:

Like a pond out there right now bro!!

Good luck, be safe, have fun and take pics!!

 :smt006

Sincerely,

Jim
