Just wondering if there are any others out there on the fence looking for a deal to buy a new AI?  ChuckE got me dreaming this past weekend, and i'm thinking about pulling the trigger.

I'm dreaming also.  Guess I had better sell my sailboat first and replace it with this hybrid.  Curious, how long does this take to rig at the ramp?

What you hinting at Eugene. I've seen three Phillipinos on an AI. They must weight more than Al  :smt003

I'm going to get one as soon I'm too old to paddle to the Dux buoy. It's getting tough, but I think I got another couple years in me.

not hinting at anything, Al and I both have had issues with capacity before.  The hobie site says the adventure has a 350 capacity, which seems light compared to the others we have looked at

Thanks Eugene  :smt044  But i've lost 30lbs since last year, and contine to drop every week!  I think the capacitys are under rated as well, since the Revo vs Adventure is same capacity, and the Outback only 50lbs more.  Doesn't take into effect the ama's either, which we've seen the video's of 3 guys on one AI kinda support that idea.  Anyway, try before you buy!  Or just sell at a loss later  :smt044

I think the capacity rating is for the Adventure. When the AMAs are deployed, I've seen videos on youtube where people were sailing with a passenger on each side of the kakay. Without the AMAs, the Adventure felt rather tippy. At GS6 I felt every swell the rolled through and I had to pay attention and balance myself, which I never had to do on a Revo.

Go for it Al !
