Hello,

Finally got a kayak, super excited to go fishing! I'm new to kayak fishing, so I will start training for gs7 :smt044. Hopefully I will get the opportunity to go fishing with some of you guys in the future. Ok, time for me to go back to studying for finals... :smt013. By the way thanks Sonny!

Ok thank you guys, I shall start using that. Shellback I've been keeping up with you post, never thought about fishing for sturgeon on a kayak, but it looks fun. Is it dangerous though? Having that huge fish drag you around?

Welcome aboard. I'm new to this as well and I'll tell you this site is very addictive and full of great topics. I'm in Elk Grove so hit me up when you want to go out and fish.

Keep checking the 'Hookup' forum.  I'm always looking for someone to go fishing up in the mountain lakes if you are interested.

I'm up in Placerville and there are many lakes just right for a kayak to fish.

Nice looking yak BTW!

More dangerous for the sturgeon if done right.
