While at the Sonoma Slam2 I dropped my camera and benchmade dive knife in 41 feet of water, at Yorty Creek Access point.  Sadly, I was re-leashing both of them when I fumbled, then cried and tried in vain to dredge them up for hours...
If someone wants to give it a try,I will tell the exact location and  I will pay $100 or more for them to be returned to me.  I had not yet downloaded pics from Berryessa Salmon Slam2 or a 4 day trip to Crescent City/Eureka...

still sad and now without a camera or knife  :(

What camera is it?  41 feet is a bit deep for many cameras to remain water tight.   :smt010

camera is:  Pentax Optio WG-1, black with caribiner strap
knife is this one:   http://www.benchmade.com/products/110H2O in chartruse

vis was 8 feet-ish in steelhead green water where I dropped it.
closest GPS I have is   38.767348,-123.081097
or see this gmap:  http://g.co/maps/gpytb

Thanks Howard, but I fumble too much to use other ppls stuff...:)

hopefully the depth was close enough to the rated 10 meters (and I hope it didnt slip down-slope after impact...) that it stayed tight.  though I did see t2 bubbles rise off of it, my FF was showing 33 to 45' where I was marking the items (lake at the normal high water mark on that day), I still want to retrieve the SD card if possible.  It has pics from my once-per-year camping trip with my Bro Matt on it :(

Thanks guys
Jim
